Minneopa State Park

Sara and I took the boys to see Minneopa Falls on Thursday. It was disappointing to see the falls at a mere trickle but, I still had a lot of fun with the boys. Everytime we go to the falls, the kids seem to find something intriguing. This time, the boys were really preoccupied with the sandstone.

Last days of summer....

The end of summer is fast approaching. I am trying to finish last minute things that I put off all summer. Even though my painting, Letting Go, was not excepted at the state fair, I am happy with the accomplishment. I am also trying to clean and organize the house. Hopefully we will have replaced all the windows by the end of fall. Soon, I'll need to start putting together schedules and planning lessons for school. My biggest project has been organizing all the pictures I took during the 2007-2008 school year and the pictures I took this summer. Because I finally put all the pictures in the correct folders, I can now start burning disks. I have come to the conclusion that digital cameras are great for the number of pictures one is able to take. However, I do need to start printing copies for picture frames and the scrapbook. I hate to think what I would have to go through during the next technology invention. I fear that all my pictures will be unretrievable on outdated disks and I will be without a copy.

In the next couple weeks, I need to take care of all the business I cannot do during the school day...banking, doctor appointments, antique shopping, and going to the state fair. I am also trying to get a few hours in a Mystic Lake.

This batch of pictures is the last batch of pictures (while Colton was here) from my summer collections.
